Female Corp Member Gets Crippled By NYSC Camp Commandant In Anambra State (Page 4)

This is very sad, after taken care of someone from primary, secondary to University level, the person only ends up becoming a cripple. In fact Nigerian' s Army should be warned. If I may ask,  Are soldiers the only force that can train N Y S C members? Why are soldiers being used to train ordinary civilians who are graduating, and  are not thinking of becoming a soldier? These people called soldiers have cause a lot of family heartache. The government should have a re- think and do something fast. On the side of the bill concerning Mercy, N Y S C should be responsible for the bill and make sure that she is flown abroad for treatment. If they failed to do that, the Parents of Mercy should take the N Y S C to court for justice. One more thing, It is a must that Mercy  should be made to walk so that she can go about her normal business, otherwise N Y S C will provide her a job, be her husband and whatever she wants to do in life N Y S C will do it.
