In the 60s - 80s We have one Nigeria, In the late 90s - 2010 we have 6 geo-political zones but from 2011 to date we have  ethnicity and tribes i.e.  (parapos & ijinle pan pan) meaning my 'own is my own'. From 2011 Nigerians do not enjoy the benefits of nationhood anymore.  I am presently residing in Nigeria and there are certain places in the country that I cannot stay even if you would dash me billions of naira.  There is no more unity in diversity, I want to protect my territoy; you want to protect yours etc.  In order to remedy this anormally all hands must be on deck and remember to offer prayers to the Most High for a good Nigeria.

My brother,we are from Africa.Where we are born or where our fathers or mothers were born if outside your village is not where we come from.In niigeria for example, all of us come from different region-state-local government, and finally village.Your village is where you come from. That is where you have your kinsmen, blood relations, age grade group and so on.That is where our fore fathers were born, lived and died.In conclusion, where you were born in african concept can be where you come from if that place is your village.

If each individual starts claiming where their parents were born, we will all end up in the garden of Eden. So I personally believe that you are a citizens of the place of your bith SHIKENA!!!

By your reasoning, If one's dad is from the Igboland and mom is from Yorubaland but both lived in Kano where they gave birth to a Son then the Son is a Hausa. I suppose that makes it completely OK for the "Hausa" child in question to go to the father's kindred and find himself a wife?
