oh yes it does  Gen 2vs 24, Eph 5vs31, Matt 19vs5 Mark 10vs7 dont change His words to suite yourself
Read between the line, Genesis vs24, is an opinion, an afterthought ! not a direct order against polygamy, I've checked all the verses, they are of the same provenance, the message encoded into those verses is of peaceful coexistence in a marriage, it's definitely not saying a man must marry one wife .
It's the women liberation gangs who has twisted those verses out of contexts,
If GOD was against polygamy he would been very specific about it .

You're very rude !  You keep yapping about my ego like We've known each other before this forum,   you know you could still make your points without personalizing issues, What is this beat or dance you've imagined that I'm playing ??  I hope you're not talking about having a fight with me here ?  Well, Whatever it is, I'll let it slide for now,  but for your information I wouldn't need the help of Naijapals admin to squash a bug !

1)"He who finds a wife finds a good thing"
2)"a man will leave his parents and cling unto a woman and they shall become one

Those are your biblical points of argument in support of a monogamous marriage, the above points are not relevant to the topic, they are rather the codes of peaceful coexistence in a marriage, moreover they are not a specific or direct command from GOD or Jesus Christ. It was not an injunction against polygamy .

Now check out guys like Jacob, David , Solomon and a host of others, they had many wives and GOD loved them, if polygamy was against the laws of GOD he would forbidden them to marry many wives, GOD would have been forthright, just as he is in the Ten Commandments.

FYI,I am nt rude! 4rm ur comment I can feel ure a hard persn bt dat's nt my biznes.Wot's wif d "u dnt nid help 2 squash a bug" talk? I neva knew u b4 dis forum bt u shd knw dat arguments tke place in a forum like dis,its nofin new so dnt mke it sound like it is. & ur talk of "ull let it slide" mkes me feel like ure spoilin 4 a fight. Wot if u dnt wan 2 let it slide,y nt bring it on? Anyway, woteva. My argument stil remain dat polygamy is nt supportd by d bible cos God in His greatnes wil neva giv man wot wil kill him.A man who has a wife is goin thru hell,hw much more d 1 dat has many wives. I knw polygamy is an African thing but we knw hw many lives dat hv bin wrecked by step mothers,2nd,3rd wives wif competitns, hatred, fights, death, etc being rife.God 4bids it dat if I marry, my husband wil wan 2 bring in anoda woman. Bt if it happens, dat'll be d end of dat marriage.I hpe dey dnt bring such law in2 nig cos it'll be askin 4 trouble.
