There's currently confusion and panic in Karu and Nyanya areas of Abuja after reports that suspected Boko Haram members hijacked a schoolbus this morning and kidnapped school children went viral. I hear anxious parents have even withdrawn their wards from schools there because of the scare.
The stories initially had it that two schools were invaded - Ave Maria and Vine International Academy but here is the true story - Ave Maria was not involved. The school proprietor of Ave Maria confirmed on phone that their school wasn't involved. But at Vine International Academy in Nyanya, their school bus was taken this morning by gunmen.
Vine Interntional school's proprietress confirmed the gunmen tried to enter her school but eventually couldn’t. And NO child was taken away by them. Just their school bus.
Security in Nyanya really needs to be boosted cos residents are so scared. Someone living there, in Federal Housing Estate Nyanya, sent a mail saying the government needs to bring in more troops into Nyanya, cos apparently, it seems Boko Haram has invaded the Nyanya environment. His words in the mail: we (Nyanya residents) are now scared for our lives.....

Nyanya is extremely vulnerable.. They should seriously beef up security there

The best form of defence is to attack what is stoping nigerian army from attack boko haram camp? Simple dogs dont eate dogs, division is the only solution we need in this country, wake up southerner wake up we need to be ready, i know this people hatred 4 southerners is even worst, we cant take their evil plan if they come we need to be ready.

I laugh at all of you who are thinking you'll be safe if Nigeria divides.Do you think your country will be fenced with a thick tall and inpeneterable steel?Infact I am talking too much,go to Kenya and ask them who is responsible for terrorism in their country,the asnswer they'll give you is Al-shabbab(from neighbouring Somalia)...PS:I am not Hausa.
