It’s been seven years since Agatha got married without a child. She was quite lucky she was married to a good family because her in-laws never for once questioned her inability to have kids. Also, her husband stood by her through it all, even when doctors said her chances of conceiving were very slim.
However, one ugly night, men of the underworld came knocking at the Nelsons’ home and they took away all they had… and raped Agatha. That very night, everything changed in the Nelson family.
Few weeks later, she realized she was pregnant and all hell was let loose by her husband. He wanted Agatha to go flush the bastard out, but Agatha felt it was her only chance of ever having a child. Agatha was torn between keeping the pregnancy and having an abortion.
We sought the view of some women what action they would take if they were in Agatha’s shoes. We asked some women if they would abort or leave a pregnancy, which came as a result of being raped?

Since the best form of christ becoming a real person is only that he was tempted, i we advice a man of my type to keep cam that is temptation, and the woman never u abort b/c that may be ur only chance. and besides is the LORD'S doing.

it was an ugly situation i must admit. but some ideal questions have to be asked and may be a clearer picture of the whole story could be painted. what was the condition of the man: the husband (health wise)? was the family of the husband realy at home with this or they were hidding their feeligs?. it is obvious that am not a woman for they know better how the situation will be for them. the queston here is not about if there is a pregnancy which shows that there is a child rather aborting the child. he acknowledges there is a child but what he can not reconcile is how the child was concieved. i believe that is where the work is. making them understand the situation that befalls humanity at times and to accept life the way they have experienced it. though it is better said than done. i suggest a continues counselling that will help them realise that a child is. what if the husband had been killed how would the story had ended? or in the cause of the abortion both mother and child did not make it? double tragedy with higher intensity. abortion is not an option for they have to handle that experience for the rest of thier lives. we must not forget God in all these: praying for strength and leading you on the right path. Hy
