Would you keep a rape pregnancy? (Page 4)

It is a pity for what hapened but in every things i advice the girl to keep that baby because no one knows what the destiny that child may become tomorrow,
Secondly the Bible advice us not kill and in distroying that pregnancy you have down more than the rape man.
Thanks and God help you to train that baby for his glory.

folks,this is a topic that deos not only need circullar explainnation,but reather spiritual impact of it.
my prayer for the man is ,that the egyctian he saw that horable night he see it no more.all the comment made til now are all great with big and deep heart of sympathy for the woman.but common we all no that the devil has come to steal kil and destroy, but to worsen the case for this awsome is that he want to leave a tormentor for them all the days of their life .brothers and sister it does,nt matter wat the devil might be surgesting .god proudly say he give joy and add no sorrow.so woman abort it and waith for your right time.          one love

It depends on the situation. If the rape was done by an armed robber, or during a war etc, I would advice the termination of such pregnancy because like they say this attributes of violence runs in the blood and it is likely that the baby no matter how innocent will carrie some if not all of the traits of the father responsible for the rape, and then the innocent mother will be left with the responsibility of taking care of such a child. But if the rape was carried out by a boy-friend who is either too timid to ask or a neighbour who has a crush on you and seizes the opportunity to have you alone with him, then I might advice that such a pregnancy be left. Anyways, I am not saying any kind of rape is acceptable because rape is rape no matter the condition. The only difference here is that in the first case, the baby will be a bastard for life, while in the second case the paternity of the baby could be traced. This is my honest take on this issue.

In either circumstances, the possibility of tracing paternity is there.  There is DNA.  If finger prints were taken after the robbery; If a rape kit was taken after the rape and robbery.  If a data bank kept finger prints and DNA information of criminals, the potential is there to find out the criminals and the dad to the baby from the rape.

It is not always true that the child will become a criminal.  The mothers DNA is also there.  The baby may end up being a girl and not a boy.  I will go on the side of those that want the woman to keep the baby.  It is the most difficult decision a woman can make, but I pray for God to give her strength to make the decision to keep the baby.  I pray that the husband will find it in his heart to hug and comfort his wife and accept that this was none of their families fault but that he is wise and strong enough to bear what ever comes his way.

Best wishes to this family because the burden is heavy but God never gives us more than we can bear.
