This is sort of a different spin off another thread I just read. Here's what I'm wondering if you are willing to share:
Who here has had sex on a first date or knows someone who has had sex on a first date and it ended up turning into a deep loving relationship? Notice I did not say it ended up turning into a sex friends relationship.
I myself need to care about someone however I'm really curious if it is possible to make it work after you have done so much so fast. My hypothesis is it is rare. I'll share my ideas about why later.

no not really it depends on y da sex occured actually..if u had sex based on lust and not like den da relationship is not goin anywhere...if u do it cuz u really liked each other or hope to have a relationship den it builds da relationship rather than destroyin it.

Sex on the first date is definitely based on lust. But that doesn't mean it can't develop into a loving relationship. I had sex with my girlfriend on the first date, and we have a strong, loving relationship.

Agreed Debbie....much depends on the y of that first-date sex...if its all physical then the relationship will flounder...but if caring and deep feelings are involved and mutual then chances are u will go further.
Sometimes waiting for some time b4 putting out.......makes u value the person u are with more........there is also time for you to learn more about each other so that whan the sex comes you both ready for it.....w no regrets!!
At other times though....lust of the body develops into an attraction of the heart...when people begin appreciating each other for who they are......this however may much depend on the results of that 1st-date sex. if it was good for both.....it opens chances to explore other feelings further....if it was a flop, then it may put paid to the whole thing!

Is sex the substance of a relationship. Some persons have sex for the first date but they know each other long time and then after sex they get married. Then you will have persons who will have sex after 6 months and the relationship ends the next day. So I don't think that having sex on the first date is a problem. The problem would be if you make it a habit of doing it with everyone you go out with.

sex on first date depend on a lot of things, 1 is it you met the girl on the road talk to her, took her to your house and have sex with her. 2 either you saw her once exchange contacts like phone numbers and you called her on regular basis until the day you have sex with her?. well ! i had sex with a girl on first date but go no were, its ended the next morning. if you need a good relationship don't be in a rush to have sex, take your time and study the relationship you may found out thing you wouldn't have notice in a rush. but don't be too slow it may too dangerous.
