I count my vote for Buhari for this reason:
President Jonathan has been the President for six years and from what we see he cannot push himself more than what we have seen or witnessed. Election should not be do or die affairs. If somebody is there today and is voted out and the person replacing him does not perform up to expectation, he, too should be ready to go in the next election. This idea of free and fair election will make our politicians to be accounted to the electorates and give value for entrusting them with power. The PDP has gone to sleep, they are just doing as if whether you like it or not they will remain in power, forgotting that your performance in terms of giving the people value for voting them in should be their watch word. I am happy that going by what we are experiencing before the election, people are going to determine who govern them. The earliest time we nearly got this term was the election for Chief M.K.O. Abiola, but unfortuntely, he was never allowed to get there. However, we all knew he won the election.
In 2011 President Jonathan came without any promise, the entire Southern people and Christian brothers in the North gave him their votes. Hoping that he would deliver by responding to the yearning and aspiration of the majority of the electorates. The Christian brothers in the North plus people from South-South and South East suffered most in the killing masterminded by the Book Haram. The first priority of any leader is ensuring security of live and property. This is not there and they are still expecting support from this same people. I think it is a wishful thinking. At the same time the people of South West with their massive support got nothing to show off. Yet some people close their eyes expect the king of 2011 support. I think is a least expected.
To worsting the situation. The people he has around him, I think they are opportunists who want to enrich themselves. Even if you want support from South west and want to convince them to vote for him, it should be done in very civilize and secretive ways. Instead, the idea of lavishing money to a very few people and hope the entire zone will support is least expected. Yoruba people with kind of what Chief Obafemi Awolowo has done would not respond postivilly for this type of approach. These people are just interested in your money and would not mind doing anything to continue milking you. The truth of the message was given by the Oba of Ijebu land. Let me rest my case here and give my vote to Gen. M. Buhari.
Thank you
