According to the General Manager of the agency, Mr. Adebola Shabi, the affected companies and churches committed offences ranging from noise pollution, oil spillage, unhygienic production process and gas emission.
The companies, which were sealed off due to oil spillage included Veracity, Rolly Poly, Road Network Transport and Seenak Company Limited, while those for noise pollution included Resnova Advertising Limited, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, two buildings belonging to the Mountains of Fire and Miracle Church.
Shabi explained that the affected companies and churches had earlier been served with abatement notice to report at the LASEPA office within the state secretariat, Alausa, but they had refused to show up for dialogue.
“Over a period of time, we have investigated complaints on sanitation and environmental pollution caused by the operations of these companies and churches and observed that they were not ready to comply with the state law,” he said.
He noted that the affected premises had failed to observe the monthly industrial sanitation exercise and that some of them had obstructed LASEPA officers from performing their duty.
Very funny, how men can decide to put their hand in white hot furnace, closing industries no prob! closing church it is a satanic agenda, any thing in you that is rebellious against church loud message needs to be killed less that thing kills you!! Am amazed that this two foremost Nigeria churches were mentioned, why they are at the forefront of destroying evil kingdoms in Nigeria which of course is the sponsor of terrible Nigerian politics
