POLICE in Zamfara State have arrested a middle-aged housewife, Mallama Rabi Halidu, of Magami town, in Gusau Local Government Area of the state, who allegedly killed her husband because of a disagreement over N10.
Speaking with the Nigerian Tribune, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Lawal Abdullahi, said the deceased, Mallam Halidu, met his death when his wife held his manhood after a confrontation as a result of his refusal to give her N10 to buy salt.
According to him, Rabi, who is now in police custody, told the Nigerian Tribune that she had no intention whatsoever to kill her husband, saying that it was purely accidental.
According to her, there was a disagreement between them, but no matter how angry she was, her husband remained lovely, adding that she could not harm him at all.
Rabi, who carries an eight-month pregnancy, asked for forgiveness. The PPRO added that Rabi would be charge to court after the investigations.
