Atiku's Daughter, Fatima Atiku Sworn In As Health Commissioner In Adamawa, Forfeits Her Salary

Daughter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Dr Fatima Atiku, has been sworn in as the new Commissioner of Health in Adamawa state. Fatima who was sworn in alongside 21 other commissioners today August 28th, told newsmen that as a way of contributing to the health sector in the state, she will be donating her salary and allowances while serving as a commissioner

“I am very grateful to the governor for appointing me to head the Health Ministry. The ministry is the most challenging because of the insurgency problem that had caused some damage to the health system in the state. For this reason, I shall be donating my salary and allowances for use in enhancing the delivery of healthcare service in the state,’’she said

She doesn't need the money as her father who put her there has his plans for that. Only Atiku with his loots is worth more than that state and I feel sorry for all those appeasing her for asking not to be paid salaries.

If she wants to contribute to the society as the daughter of a stinkingly rich man, who stole the hell out of public's funds then why not open charity homes across the nation and not be rubber stamped in the state as a commissioner ?

Good citizen. Pals, why would anybody blame the lady for her good spirit? One question: did she have control over the amount of money her father stole from government? Way to go Nigeria, at least she recognizes the importance of giving back.
