Genevieve Nnaji is still not married and time is fast running cos she’s already 36. Many people have criticized her for being too choosy in choosing a husband. Others have also speculated that she is a lesbian.
However, in an interview with Chux Ohai of Punch Nigeria, the Nollywood icon said the reason she is still single is that she hasn’t met Mr. Right yet. And if she finally meets the right dude, she will ask him to put a ring on it.
“I haven’t found the right man yet. When he comes, I’ll get married,” she said.
In the interview, she also dished about her hotly-anticipated upcoming movie ‘Road To Yesterday’.
On why her new movie doesn’t star many known faces, she said: “It is part of our effort to open up Nollywood to more newcomers and to create opportunities for people who are very talented and who have the passion for this job. This is why we have somebody like Ishaya Bako in the team.”
