Some Igbo youths agitating for the realization of the Independent state of Biafra in the South-eastern part of Nigeria were assaulted and arrested by security operatives during a peaceful protest. The Nigerian government has expressed zero-tolerance to the independence advocacy of pro-Biafra activists as the agitations have led to the arrest and incarceration of the major proponent of the cause, Nnamdi Kanu; the Radio Biafra director who is currently being tried for treason in court. A group of IPOB supporters were spotted on their praying ground in Abia state organizing a peaceful protest which attracted the intervention of security operatives that thwarted the gathering. This video shows the combined military force shooting teargas at the teaming unarmed protesters, some were beaten and others whisked away in their security vehicles.

If you guys are really serious about your Biafra actualization,Tell your top politicians to go about it the right way, let there be an overwhelming referendum to approve it as a legislative act and lets see if there will be mass support for the separation.

The military need to respect peaceful protesters because they're not harm only if they're vandalising government properties that's when they're wrong,so PMB call those zombies to caution.

with the kind of comments from Nigeria youths here, it seems to me that Nigeria has no future. Somebody just congratulated the military for clamping down unarmed peaceful protesters in the name of making peace. I strongly believe that Nigeria leaders are the main problem of this country...... shooting at unarmed protesters is undemocratic and a crime against Humanity....... Que Sera Sera
