omatu at 5-05-2010 07:47 PM (15 years ago) (f) OMATU What make me been tribalistic? The truth is clear that drug peddler will face death penalty in any Muslim World. In Saudi Arabia there are lot of Nigerian facing death penalties. In Egypt many Nigerian are facing drugs cases.Nearly all the EUROPEAN countries jails one or two Nigerian must be inside facing drugs related cases and the crazy thing about it is (IBOS).EMEKA,CHUKUDI,OBINA,EZE.....ETC.People started asking if cocaine is been growled in ibo land?.When it come to PROSTITUTION'S You can trace these trade to the EDO AND ISHIEN.The TERRORIST, the MUSLIM RADICALS Hausa. Then talk about the HUMAN BEING KILLS,The Hausa FULANI.....Then 419 YORUBA'S in which they call themselves intellects in forgery (PAPER WORK) The true is clear, if the GOVT. refuse to interfere, the drug peddlers will face the sword.
The Igbos are not the only tribe that deal with drugs. All the tribes are involved in all these crimes that you have outlined above. People have started stereotyping which is very dangerous and continues to divide the tribes from one another. Sin is sin and the only greater sin is the sin against the Holy Spirit. To your question, my mother, father, brother, sister, cousin, uncle or even my friend can not be among them, because we are trained and accept training. If anybody that is close to me is involved he or she should be beheaded.
This is how you ruined the country under the name of nepotism. I dont see any sane man who will tell me that what they did is the best for themselves or Nigeria as a country. so Get a life

kinkyebony at 5-05-2010 08:48 PM (15 years ago) (m) Omatu@ nobody is discriminating against anybody in Nigeria, so stop talking nonsence. All partS of Nigeria are having problems, it is not peculiar to the Ibos, no job for anybody, unless you are connected, this is applicable to every tribe, The only tribe I can not say the same about are only the Hausa/Fulani because I dont know. I have a brother who is a graduate who has not got a job since graduating about 5 years ago, is he not a Nigerian, and I am not Igbo. So when you are talking of discrimination, it is not peculiar to any tribe, we cant even call it discrimination
"IT IS CALLED MAN NO MAN"
and if it is because the Igbos have not not been able to govern Nigeria as a President, The almajiri on the street of the north and the beggars all over the country are they not Hausa/Fulani, what do they gain, through their leaders being President? What gain was acquired by an average Yoruba enjoy during OBJ regime?, so maginalisation is not an issue, our problem is bad government all over the country, even your current state Governor who I believe is an Ibo man what have you gain personally through his government. Look at how much all the state governments are getting from the federation account every month, tell me, what are the Governors doing in their respective states, and they are the one who suppose to serve us more than the government in the middle. I know the Federal Government is not doing anything, but our Governors who are our brothers, what have they done for the citizens. Throughout their 4 or 5 years in Government, they will tare about 3 roads and build an hospital and some offices, name it after themselves, that is all. then tell me where is the billions they are collected from the federal every month? ALL THE POLITICIANS, WHETHER IBO, YORUBA, HAUSA, EFIK, IBIOBIO, EDO, URHOBO, are bad people, none is governing us they are only serving themselves and those who are close to them. SO PUT TRIBALISM OUT OF NIGERIAN PROBLEMS. I pray in no long a time an Ibo man will be President of this country, you will now see and understand what I am saying. An average Nigerian Politician are the same, no matter the tribe 1Ola, you're true son of the soil, a good ambassador of his people, the JUSTICE of all causes. If truly you've written according to your inner thought, you may be the REDEEMER & MESSIAH of that country (NIGERIA), if PEACE & FREEDOM of DEMOCRACY will pave-way for you to become her PRESIDENT. Irrespective of CULTURE & TRADITION, irrespective of NEPOTISM, RELIGION & TRIBAL DIFFERENCES, you've written the truth & stand by it. You're a man of JUSTICE. More grease to your elbow. An average Nigerian Politician are the same, no matter the tribe @1ola - This article was written in 2006, I just took an exerpt from it to avoid long copy and paste of somebody else' writings. The source is from the Biafra Foundation. ............. Since 1980 the Igbo and other people of Eastern Nigeria living in Hausa Fulani lands have been subjected to more than twenty five unprovoked attacks and more than 30 thousand innocent civilians slaughtered. Their property worth billions of dollars have been looted and razed. No one has ever paid them a penny as compensation or as little as said sorry. In 1966 the Hausa Fulani organized one of the worst massacres in the history of Africa against the Igbo living and doing business in Northern and Western Nigeria. When the dust cleared Hausa Fulani marauders had slaughtered more than 100,000 Igbo, Anang, Efik, Ijaw, Ibibio, and Ekoi. As if that was not enough the Nigerian government starved more than one million babies children, pregnant women, old women and old men to death in a deliberate policy in which their leaders Yakubu Gowon, Obafemi Awolowo, and Anthony Enahoro stated that “starvation is a legitimate instrument of war.” The examples are too numerous to mention. The fact is that this is a solid case of ethnic cleansing by the Hausa Fulani war lords and Islamic fundamentalists against the Igbo, Ibibio, Efik, Ijaw, Ekoi, and other people of Eastern Nigeria whose political philosophy and practice is democratic and their religion, Christian. ................. I do not have to mention to you that Igbos have suffered in the hands of the Hausa Fulani after 1980. A perfect example is the recent brutal killings in Jos. You can refuse to see the marginalization of Igbos in Nigeria, but the facts speaks for themselves. Posted: at 5-05-2010 09:47 PM (15 years ago) | Gistmaniac

devid75 at 5-05-2010 09:49 PM (15 years ago) (m) PLEASE READ: A married lady was expecting a birthday gift from her husband. For many months she had admired a beautiful diamond ring in a showroom, and knowing her husband could afford it, she told him that was all she wanted. As her birthday approached, this lady awaited signs that her husband had purchased the diamond ring. Finally, on the morning of her birthday, her husband called her into his study. Her husband told her how proud he was to have such a good wife, and told her how much he loved her. He handed her a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, the wife opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the wife's name embossed in gold. Angrily, she raised her voice to her husband and said, 'With all your money you give me a Bible?' And stormed out of the house leaving her husband. Many years passed and the lady was very successful in business. She managed to settle for a more beautiful house and a wonderful family, but realized her ex-husband was very old, and thought perhaps she should go to visit him. She had not seen him for many years. But before she could make arrangements, she received a telegram telling her that her ex-husband had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to her. She needed to come back immediately and take care of things. When she arrived at her ex-husband's house, sudden sadness and regret filled her heart. She began to search through her ex-husband's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as she had left it years before. With tears, she opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. Her ex-husband had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11, 'And if you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father, who is in heaven, give what is good to those who ask Him?' As she read those words, a tiny package dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a diamond ring, with her name engraved on it -- the same diamond ring which she saw at the showroom. On the tag was the date of her birth, and the words. 'LUV U ALWAYS'. How many times do we miss God's blessings, because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed Posted: at 5-05-2010 09:49 PM (15 years ago) | Upcoming

No need for long stories and name calling. When two or three are gathered together in His name, whatever they ask, will be granted to them. We have both agreed that your sins will be equally judged the same way the people you refer to as criminals will be judged. It is good in our eyes. If you desire to have them executed, you will also be executed because of your sins. Posted: at 5-05-2010 09:53 PM (15 years ago) | Gistmaniac

Baberose - Jesus Christ was persecuted and so will his followers. I already have my inheritance in Christ. I preach understanding that no sin is greater than the other exept the sin against the Holy Spirit which will never be forgiven. You may think that drug pushing is the worst sin, but God considers lies and murder to be the worst sin. When God describes satan, he refers to him as a liar and a murderer. Sin is sin. If you have ever lied, you are just as guilty as those people that are drug dealing. If you wish for them to be killed and you judge them the way you have been judging them, the same measure in which you mete out will be the same measure that will be mete out to you. You are the one that needs to look at yourself because the ones referred to as hypocrites in the bible are those that claim to be holier than thou people. This story is tell in so many different ways but the message remains the same. We should never place emphasis on the condition that comes before the gift. At times we frown upon our blesses because it is either too small, cheap or worn. God uses different ways in seeing how grateful we are.
Godly WISDOM is to Fear God. His UNDERSTANDING is to resist the devil. Posted: at 5-05-2010 10:39 PM (15 years ago) | Gistmaniac
