@Abduul

...The same reason why you chose Friday instead of Fry-day to be your worship day...
...Did Prophet Mohammed or Islam name the day as Friday...?

...shadowchaser Grin
...you should know by now that all the questions you ask had been answered in the greatest book of all time...The Holy Bible...

Read this:...

..."And on the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to depart the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight," acts 20:7

...For those that leave substance and chase shadows like yous...please read the following lines:...

Romans. 14

v5. One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
v6. He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.
v7. For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. 8If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

...for the record: Christians pray and attend scriptural and general meetings all the days of the week...

@Chik001: Firstly, for your own infomation, We muslims believed in JUMU'A NOT FRIDAY, so talking about Friday in Islam does not arise.
 Secondly, I see that you are quoting some verses in the book that you called old tastement, don't you feel like this is a Big blow to you as i quoted these books several times to you in some aspect and you said you are not using them now for a reason that you are in a new tastement era. Do you Remember? why are you quoting thesame scriptures now?.Any way, even with this once, there is no convincible point in them that shows clearly that you should go to church on sunday for the purpose of prayer.
look chik001, Open your eyes and see, I know that your mind, eyes and soul are closed. At this I am praying to Almighty God to Open your eyes and see the truth b/4 you die. To call me a shadow chaser, that is not the begening and it will not be an end. So it will not cause harm to me and my religion(ISLAM). If you like Call me what ever.
@Candre: Am Going back to UK , Am not sure if I can get time to enter Naijapal, so i will miss you for some time. What i will advise you here is that, pls ignor all the criticism and keep telling them the truth and be convincing them with proofs as I trust you . Only God can Reward you. Know that an empty vessels makes too much noises. I mean people like chik001 and co, are not here for the purpose of knowledge shering but Religios abuse. Do not halt thier Religion first, if however, for any reason they halt Islam, halt thier own too. JAZA KUMULLAHU BI KHAIR.

@Abduul

Firstly, The book of Acts and Romans are can be found in the New Testament…
There has never and will never be a convincing point on anything Christianity to you as an Islamic scholar…don’t pray for me bro…pray for yourself…I will take care of myself.
Left to me…I don’t have any problem with Islam…rather…Islam have problem with me…
Candanre and yous are telling yourselves what you consider to be the truth…not The Truth
My advise to you all …is to go and reconcile with Islamic history and learn to defend yourself…

Actually Friday is Freyja-day, from the Aesir faith; and Tuesday is Tyr's Day and Wednesday is Woden's Day. The Asatru are growing in number too, and we will not bend the knee to the desert religions - ever.
