Standard of Uni. Education in Nigeria

My Naija Pals, the rate at which edu. standard in Naija is falling is alarming, more worrisome is the emphasis  laid on certificates even when it cant be justifed.After the no of years in the uni, a graduate still have to be retrained for what he/she has been 'trained' or so to say in the university, its theory all through, whether you understand or not, the  aim is to pass the exams and get the certificate(Na who pass exam dey intelligent..) either through  'sorting' the lecturer or at times having sex with them. Industries, Companies and Establishments have be complaning seriously about the quality of nigerian graduates..Can you imagine a computer science graduate that is not able to as much as put on a computer effectively or even know what booting a computer is....we can count on and on. Its that bad. what needs to be done, your opinion is needed.

Gud day Naija pals,falling of standard of our tertiary institution is something that our Govt. needs to look into and find solutions to it.Is very embarassing when we travelled abroad and our certificate is not recognised.Certificate should not be something we need to be worshiping in this our Country.We should also respect the brain.
Looking at another perspective descrimination between Polythecnic graduates and Uni. graduates is something that Govt. should look into.

the standard of education is has dropped down since one could remember ots not just about government and standards.its start wit every individual.what do you expect from some1 who failed o level mathematics but still goes ahead to study accounting.....worse parents encourage it.even school authorities even accept such cases tho with conditions...
