The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has suspended the use of the National Identification Number (NIN) for candidates sitting for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

National Identification Number, NIN will no longer be a prerequisite for the 2020 UTME and Direct Entry  Examination, as it has been suspended to 2021 says JAMB Registrar, Prof Oloyede

NIN as pre-prerequisite should have started immidiately upon enrollment into the tetiary instutution (ss 1). They should stop putting the cart before the horse.
