#LekkiShooting: Sanwo-Olu Cannot Invite The Army, Only Buhari Has The Authority - Army General

A top ranking Nigerian Army officer, Brigadier-General Ahmed Ahmed Ibrahim Taiwo has debunked claims that the Lagos state governor, Babjide Sanwo Olu ordered the invasion of the #EndSARS protest at Lekki toll gate. The army general iterated that Sanwo Olu does not have the authority to give order to troops, as he is not the commander-in-chief of the Nigerian armed forces, and for such order to be effective, it needs to come from President Buhari himself.
The new declaration came to light after a member of the army revealed that the governor invited soldiers to the Lekki toll gate for disband the protesters

Who is fooling who? Tales by moon night. Whether he has power to invite Military or not, there was proof that people were shot at the peaceful protest.
