me i will marry a man only on the agreement of a court wedding den any other wedding is secondary for security reasons and u dont have to do big weddings to make it a wedding wedding is just a vow with witnesses and to keep to that vow finish, i dont believe in all dis borrow money big ceremonies

If white marriage you refer to church wedding or registration with the civil statusq registrar,then, traditional marriage is just a process leading to that. It is not a contracdition for even in the Bible brideprice is recognised and before one takes a woman to church or civil status, the family's consent is always sort for.
 Personally I will advice all these three be done because they compliment each other!

@Emmandazie...initial wht we normaly do here is traditional marag...we borowd wht weddin fro d whits...in traditional mariag...u spend...afta dat u spend again durin d whit weddin...now som men are disputin dat demandin dat dey do either traditional (involvin famly and ur gud friends etc) than to start planin 4 whit weddin again or to do white weddin (ie payin d brids priz to famly comprisin few witnesses, les expensiv...no musik....no party) den plan weddin & reception) but in  most occasion...ladies wants d 2...which is more expesinv...as 4 me i think it all means d same...durin traditional marriag..parents hands over their daughter to d man...sam thin happens durin whit weddin in d place of worship..hw many times are dey handin over d lady??? or wht do u think? i think we shuld cut our coat accordin to our size...
