NFF Names Ex Player, Emmanuel Amunike As Super Eagles Head Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has named former International Emmanuel Amuneke new head coach of the Super Eagles.

It also retained Augustine Eguavoen as Interim Technical Adviser.

A statement by NFF General Secretary Dr Mohammed Sanusi, said the development was part of moves to reconstitute the technical committee of the national team.

It reads: “The NFF Board has approved a recommendation of the Technical and Development Committee retaining Augustine Eguavoen as Technical Director/Technical Adviser (interim) while Emmanuel Amuneke becomes the Chief Coach of the Super Eagle

“Salisu Yusuf will be the 2nd Assistant Coach/Chief Coach of the CHAN team and Joseph Yobo will be 3rd Assistant while Aloysius Agu remains the Goalkeepers’ Trainer.”
