David Nwamini Ukpo, the young man involved in the controversial organ harvesting saga that led to the arrest and detention of Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice in the UK, has taken to his Facebook wall to explain how he met the Senator and was allegedly lured from Nigeria to London for the harvesting of his kidney without his consent.

Ukpo narrated his side of the story in a Facebook post on Saturday, June 25, 2022, where he also posted his Visa page to back up his claims, even as Senator Ekweremadu and his wife remain in detention, having been denied bail by a London magistrates’ court where they were arraigned hours after their arrest on Thursday, June 23, 2022.

Entiled “My journey to UK”, Ukpo’s unedited post reads thus:

Quote
“On one fateful day I met a man named okoro in a building site where I was working for my daily bread, okoro told me he like me, he want to help me achieve my dream because he saw me as a great person. He told me could you like to work in UK I just started laughing because I don’t have money for that, then I told him no am not interested and asked me why I told him I don’t have money for that.

“He just started laughing to me and told me he is going to introduce me to senator his company in UK need workers, so he could start my visa processing.

“I have no other option than to accept the offered, after two day the man came to the building site again and told me the senator wanted to see me so we could start the visa processing, then I dropped my shovel and head pan and went to bath immediately.

“Mrs okoro took me to unknown area where I haven’t been before, I was afraid maybe he is a money ritualist, I encouraged my self since I knew Mr okoro for a long time there will be no problem. Mr okoro hand me over to one young man wearing a suit, he told me everything about then I told him Mr okoro has already explain everything to me and I have accepted to work in UK.

“Their later gave me a room on that mansion and snap me a passport photographs and told their will start my visa processing immediately. the kind of food I ate there my generation haven’t ate it before. I was so happy staying in that house. After a week their told me my visa and passport are ready their told we are going to leave tomorrow, I was taken to airport from there we land in UK I was taken to a hospital in UK.

“When we landed in hospital in UK I was told I must went for a medical test to check my health status, if I’m fit for the job I accepted without any question. I thank God for doctor harry who told me everything and I told him why I’m here and he later called police for my rescued.

Hmmmmmm I don't believe in this guy's statement at all. He has good lecturers who have tutored him well on what to say to get asylum in UK.
We've seen numerous cases like this in London.
Out of the uncountable people around the Senator and his wife, of what benefit would it be for them to pick you, a labour on building site fir greener pasture in London?Huh? Do you know how many people in this Senator's constituency, looking at him for empowerment???
That's a blatant lie.
He was tutored to lie to the Doctor at Royal Free Hospital,  so the Doctor would help him call the Police. This would help his asylum application.
I'm pretty sure the truth would be unravelled by the British Court soon.
It's a shame we Nigerians are so desperate and deadly to survive to the extent we do not give a damn about destroying anybody in our quest for survival.
Truth shall vindicate the just. Please let it be known, I don't know the Ekweremadus or an Igbo guy.
But I just believe in truth and fairness

Gosh ! I won’t be rushed into reaching a verdict until the truth is unveiled. There may be truth in the young man’s version of the story and there may be some hitches in the story .The senator should speak out on what transpired and how did the young man got into the plane with him .If the senator version is true , on the account that the young man did so on mutual consent then we should ask ourselves ,why would our senator a career lawyer not aware of the need to put every transaction into a written deal? The senator can be find guilty for a misleading information submitted for the young man visa application .I would say this ,our senator is guilty of count one offense and punishable under the law .Nigerians can’t be trusted and nobody does cares about being humane anymore in present Nigeria .we waiting !

If youre smart, you better seek asylum there. Say your life is at risk if you go back to Nigeria. Lobatan, from labourer to success.

...I AM NOT SURPRISED THAT YOU REFUSED TO BELIEVE HIS EXPLANATION BECAUSE THE LIKES OF YOU SUPPORT EVIL PEOPLE. THIS EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING ALL OVER NIGERIA TODAY. THIS WAS MADE KNOWN TO THE PUBLIC BECAUSE THEY TOOK HIM TO LONDON. MANY CASES LIKE THIS DO HAPPEN INSIDE NIGERIA WITHOUT ANYONE WITH EXPLANATIONS AS TO WHY YOUNG NIGERIANS KEEP DISAPPEARING EVERYDAY. MOST OF THESE ORGAN HARVEST TAKES PLACE INSIDE NIGERIAN HOSPITALS. NOT ALL CASES ARE ACTUALLY ABOUT MONEY RITUALS.  IF THE DEPUTY SENATOR HAVE DECIDED TO CARRY OUT THIS OPERATION INSIDE NIGERIA, NOBODY WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT IT. THE YOUNG MAN WOULD HAVE JUST DISAPPEARED LIKE THAT WITHOUT TRACE.

..MY BROTHER, IT IS POSSIBLE HE SIGNED SOME PAPERS BUT PERHAPS NOT KIDNEY TRANSPLANT RELATED. AFTER OPERATION THEY WOULD HAVE TOLD HIM A NEW STORY AS TO WHY THE KIDNEY WAS REMOVED. IN WESTERN WORLD, DOCTORS MUST LET YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ABOUT TO DO OTHERWISE THEY THEMSELVES MAYBE IN TROUBLE

With all due respect. I didn't come here to join issues with anyone. Opinion is like air and everyone is entitled to it.
I already mentioned in my message, I do not support Ekweremadus nor I'm an Igbo guy.
But it doesn't mean anybody who gives his own opinion supports evil.
Are we saying all wealthy people and all government functionaries are evil?
My point is, let the British courts do thorough interrogation and the truth would come out.
If truly Ekweremadus fell foul of the English law. They'll mot be soared jail. Same goes fir Ukpo as well.
But in my opinion, there is more to it than meet the eye.
Thanks

There's more to this story cos I'm wondering how the Senator will want to use the boys kidney without first confirming if it's a match with his daughter's and why wouldn't he or his wife donate to their daughter? Well the truth will definitely prevail thank God its in the UK.

The confirmation of whether the boy's kidney it's a match with Ekweremadu's daughter ought to have been done in Nigeria before taking the donor anywhere.  There is more to this matter........
