
The management of Kwara State University, Malete, has officially disassociated itself from AbdulMueez Olamilekan Jimoh, a 24-year-old man reported missing, stating that he is not a student of the institution.
In a statement issued by the Acting Director of University Relations, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, on Thursday, it was clarified that AbdulMueez Olamilekan Jimoh does not appear in the records of Kwara State University, Malete, as a student.
The statement emphasized that records from the university indicate that AbdulMueez Olamilekan Jimoh ceased paying school fees and registering for courses since the 2021/2022 academic session, which would have been his second year of study.
The failure to pay fees and register for courses for subsequent academic years, without proper approval from the institution, led to the conclusion that AbdulMueez Olamilekan Jimoh voluntarily withdrew from the university.
Therefore, the management of Kwara State University, Malete, categorically stated that AbdulMueez Olamilekan Jimoh is not enrolled as a student at the institution.
The statement also highlighted the active involvement of the Nigeria Police in the search for AbdulMueez Olamilekan Jimoh, underscoring the collaborative efforts to locate him.
