Lola Omotayo Okoye, the wife of Peter Okoye from the iconic music duo Psquare, has publicly praised Anita Okoye, her brother-in-law’s ex-wife, on social media.
The endorsement came after Anita shared striking photos of herself adorned in Aso-Oke, celebrating the detailed craftsmanship of what she described as the “Unity Cloth.”
Anita, through her Instagram page, expressed her love for the diverse cultural heritage of Nigeria, encapsulated in her outfit.
She stated that the attire, woven with various traditional fabrics like Aso-Oke, Akwette, Itive, and Ivavtyo, was more than just a fashion statement but a powerful symbol of unity.
“Draped in my coat of many colours by @hertunba … I’m embracing the rich craftsmanship of the ‘Unity Cloth.’ This piece, woven with Aso-Oke, Akwette, Itive, and Ivavtyo, is a stunning tribute to Nigeria’s diverse culture. It’s more than fashion; it’s a powerful statement!” Anita wrote.
Surprisingly, Lola Okoye commented on Anita’s post, referring to her as “the one and only.”
