In a renewed effort to combat immorality and restore discipline in Kano State, the Hisbah Board has announced a ban on sports betting.
This decision is part of a broader initiative to maintain social order and promote moral values within the community.
Additionally, Hisbah has pledged to take action against landlords who rent properties to unknown individuals, citing concerns over the rising number of residential homes being used as lodges and motels.
In addition, prospective couples would NOT be allowed to sit in tinted vehicles during courtship particularly in the night.
Also female beggars or any woman seen in a tricycle after 10pm would also be apprehended.
