Nigerian entrepreneur Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, has accused media personality and activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) of theft following the reported disappearance of ₦180 million from VDM’s non-governmental organization (NGO) account.
The controversy began after VeryDarkMan revealed that hackers had breached the NGO’s website, leading to the substantial financial loss. According to VDM, ₦20 million was subsequently recovered after the arrest of a suspect in Jos, Plateau State. Investigations are ongoing to trace the remaining funds.
While VDM’s announcement garnered sympathy from some quarters, it also fueled skepticism. Critics questioned the credibility of the story, with many speculating that there might be more to the situation than meets the eye.
Blord, who has a history of social media disputes with VeryDarkMan, added fuel to the fire by publicly criticizing the activist on his X (formerly Twitter) account. In his post, Blord accused VDM of dishonesty and implied that his actions were influenced by his upbringing.
The statement has sparked a wave of reactions online, with supporters and critics of both parties exchanging heated arguments on various social media platforms. While some back Blord’s claims, others have defended VDM, urging caution and patience until the ongoing investigations are concluded.
As the drama unfolds, observers are keenly watching for updates from law enforcement and further revelations that could either vindicate or implicate those involved in this high-profile dispute.
