It depend on the financial  position of both parties & it can  be a mutual contibution between them but I will prefer a wedding where the  woman   will  be  a party to the success of the glories day, i mean  financial  wise.

the man is the major sponsors of the wedding & a little help from the woman but mostly the reverse is the case becos why? some women are responsible for sponsorship bcos they  are    desperate to get married by the men with d reason that they are no longer getting younger & no man who like to marry an old woman but a young GIRL  of 16 that will give them fresh  blood so as to make them ever younger.

It depend as to which way you decide to go. The way it is done as our parents didt it .The parents of the bride sponsered the wedding. The man sponsered the honeymoon. But for most this day and time both the man and the woman pay for their wedding and honey moon.
