Depends on what ground he/she insult the parents... what if the parents are the irritating type, that one even know what they could do at a particular time, huh? We all knew some parents can be so irritating no matter how much you respect them or do anything to please them.... Maybe my partner has been enduring and hold on for long, but this time she can't hold back than to show some human behavior in her.

If such thing happen, and is my parents fault, I will apologize to her even because of my parents attitude, she is human and deserve her own respect, because she got parents as well, so mine shouldn't disrespect her when they knew i am there. Then for my parents i will caution them quietly not to allow such thing happen again, I might still send my girl to go apologize to them for been harsh no matter what.

However, if is my girl that just insulted my parents when is not worth it... i will take harsh decision from that point. I don't need someone who can stand on my front and insult my parents, I wonder what she will do to me in future... You all know where it will end from that moment !! MEETING Over !!  Wink

No different between BF/Hubby on this issue.

The best way to tackle this issue is knowing the parents capability and behaviors, not because they are our parents, and we will keep their mistakes in a good files.. No Way !! They can use their own to spoil the good thing coming into your future....

Have you thought about that one,, That insulting, nagging, bad behavior parents could affect their daughters future, if any man will discover such act from a particular parents, there are chances that the man will start thinking, the daughter might have inherit some of their attitude.

I will never rush into conclusion if such thing occur, I will have to hear from both side and then move to make my decisions.

For me dia is a difference between bf/husband bcos even if my parents r at fault my bf

Just like Gaddaffi's son will want others to treat his father in a right way, but his father forgot that other people he's killing out there got fathers. The problem in our world today is, we don't stand our ground to call bad thing bad thing.... if my parents will ever misbehave and i know that, they're going the wrong way, I will be the first to throw in caution warnings on the air for them. I will not want them to embarrass me outside. Charity they say begins at home... and whatever we do in secret is waiting somewhere for us in the broad day light.

I quite see your point.............but there is always a way to correct an elder without insulting the person...........
