![-]( "oopspecies") oopspecies at 26-08-2011 11:01 AM (13 years ago) (m) The bible says the book of deuteronomy that"believe in the lord your God s shall thou be established,believe in your prophets and thou shall prosper.it is also the bible that says he has made us kings and priests on earth,everyone is responsible for his or her own actions,it is only a lazy christian that will always run to a pastor if he or she cannot pray because you can also hear from God if your ways are right before God.since he has made us priests,on earth,it means we can also do greater works if we hve the holy spirit.lets be careful because jesus said many will come in his name pretending to be real lets remember that its not all that call JESUS that will enter heaven at the same time it is also good to respect psator's advice the only thing is you can also go to God and ask him for proove after you receive any message from pastor cos not all of them are real.

I fully agree wit d writer of d passage. It amazes me wat pastors are turning/already av turned to these days. A lady in Abuja has just told my roomate here in Dubai that of all the names of suitors she submitted to her pastor, my friend's name is the God's chosen! Note: they're only frnds on facbuk, nt seen eachoda b4! Wonder y God dint choose many other suitors in Naija! Meanwhile my padi here is planning a wonderful wedding wit his own other "God's chosen" lady this December. I can say yes or No, but my own contribution is that is not right for a pastor to tell some one whom to get marriage to; why? when you read the story of Adam and Eve in book of Genesis when God create Adam and kept him in the Garden and ask him not to eat from the fruit of good and evil them Adam obey God (Genesis 2vs 15-17) and God made woman and give her to Adam and He find it was good. thereafter, the devil convince the woman to eat from the fruit which God ask them not to and she gave to Adam. so when God findout he call Adam and ask Adam and Adam chanlenge God by asking God it's not the woman you gave to me (genesis 3vs 12) and when you read deeply you find out that God did not accused Adam neither did he lay cause on Adam for he knew when Adam was alone he never disobey him, then he said in (proverbs 18vs 22) He that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from God. he did not say pastor, Evangism, bishop,minister that finds a wife or a husband for the brethren finds a good thing so is wrong for a pastor to say I will find a wife or a husband for my brethren, for God him self try it to Adam and Adam accused him, so all we need from pastor is the blessing from God which is the favour of God.thanks and God bless you...... | Posted: at 26-08-2011 08:01 PM (13 years ago) | Newbie | |
