I've been seein a lot of Naija cats on twitter callin Wale a Akata n such. How do ya'll feel about him? And what does akata mean? I mean i have an idea but not an exact definition. I personally feel he should work more with Nigerian artist and expose he's American fans to a country he says he loves.

let the guy be! he was born in yankee he grew up in yankee even his parents left 9ja a long time ago. the only thing 'nigerian' about him is his name...i say he should keep on doing what he is doing cos he's gud @ it....what d f--k does 'akata' means?!!

Lol! all i know is it aint good. It's slander. i guess it means americanized black person, idk really. I like wale, long as he keeps makin music i'm good
