TB Joshua just spoke again concerning the state of the nation. I typed it as i was watching and this is roughly what he said - direction and revelation for our president and our country.

I want to salute my people Nigeria for coming here today. The Bible says it honours God to believe even while every sense contradicts him. Once again I salute your faith. I believe this is the period that God must be honoured. We need to talk about the situation in Nigeria. If the situation is not okay we could not come here today. Nigeria has prayed and hoped one thing that is yet to be done - we need to apply love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 – There are only 3 things – faith, hope and love. The greatest is love. Since the greatest thing is love; we need to make the greatest sacrifice. Our president is the person who should make the greatest sacrifice. The other participants will follow. My message to the nation, to you Nigeria – is compromise. Love is compromise. To give chance for peace in the interests of the nation –
Jesus gave chance for peace. When he said, give to ceaser what is ceasers and to God what is God’s.
To compromise means we must shift the ground.
We should not give the impression of embarrassing the president and the other participants in the crisis.
To achieve this easily, our president must rely more on politicians because this is a game than on technocrats.
God bless the nation.

fellow nigerians, we saw today that jonathan had to agree on a compromise and put part of the oil subsidy back in place. dis is exactly following d advice given by tb joshua yesterday dat he should make  sacrifice and compromise, that he should listen to politicians and not just to technocrats. tb joshua said that he had passed the message to the authorities so i'm sure he managed to get the message directly to jonathan himself.

the protests are now over, just as tb joshua also said during d service yesterday -

On Sunday 14th January 2012, at around 12pm, TB Joshua addressed the nation of Nigeria in his sermon, saying that the crisis and the restrictions are over. He said, “People of Nigeria – the issue of crisis, put it behind you. Some of you are worrying that you will not go out on Monday and that you will be restricted. No. God is on top of it. He is in control”. He said that there would be free movement on Monday and that the protests would be over as from Monday. He added that there would be a consensus between the government, labour leaders and civil society groups; they would agree to shift the ground.
