Course on Beyonce titled "Politicizing Beyonce" Offered at Rutgers University

 A professor Kevin Allred at rutgers university is currently offering a course on beyonce. The course titled "Politicizing beyonce" is being taught to show how beyonce promotes feminism and pushes boundaries.
       Allred says, “This isn’t a course about Beyoncé’s political engagement or how many times she performed during President Obama’s inauguration weekend,” but rather about how she promotes feminism and pushes boundaries
 He explained further "She certainly pushes boundaries. While other artists are simply releasing music, she’s creating a grand narrative around her life, her career, and her persona.
