The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a pastor, Peter Ayodele Omope, over alleged attempted murder and unlawful possession of prohibited firearm.

The suspect, who’s the lead pastor of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Jesu Yan Parish, located at Olambe Junction in Akute area of the state, was arrested following a distress call received by the police from one Deji Olaketan.

According to the command’s spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, Olaketan reported that the clergy shot a teenage girl with whom he was on transit.

What I dont understand is, when someone is seriously wounded, the clinics and hospitals will start rejecting and referring, why are you in business? No common first aid nothing...I am a victim of this stupidity. Stabilize people and refer them. Some may die on transit from one hospital to another!

AT LEAST, HE SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO WHATEVER EXPLANATION THEY HAVE. NOW THAT SHE IS BEING REJECTED BY EVERY HOSPITAL, HER LEG MAY END UP BEING AMPUTATED FOR LACK OF EARLY PROPER TREATMENT. CHURCHES ARE NO LONGER HOUSE OF GOD.
