Almost everyone has a smartphone, which means they all download and use apps from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. We have really reached the point where there is an app for everything. Whether you love mobile games, social networking or photography apps, it's pretty easy to get hold of, depending on your smartphone.

Photographers regularly take pictures of celebrities while they are using their smartphones. So naturally, we are quite curious about which apps our favorite celebrities use. Fortunately, their social media profiles often give us insight into the apps they are obsessed with. For example, we all know how much Snoop Dogg and David Beckham love UFC Odds.

1.   Instagram
You probably know this already, but many celebrities use Instagram. Hundreds of millions of people use Instagram on iOS and Android. So, it's no surprise that some of these are celebrities, using the platform to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at their lives. Some of the celebrities that are active and that could be interesting to follow are, among others, Aziz Ansari, Beyoncé, Karlie Kloss, Jaden Smith, Chrissy Teigen, Britney Spears, and Kanye West.

2.   Snapchat
It is no surprise that celebrities love Snapchat. POPSUGAR has recently compiled a list of more than 90 celebrities you should follow on Snapchat. The star-studded list has some obvious names, such as Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner, and Nick Jonas. In addition, it features some unexpected names, such as Luke Bryan, Chelsea Handler, and Dwayne Johnson. Allure has a Snapchat tutorial from Kylie Jenner if you are new to the platform.

3.   WhoSay
WhoSay is another app that celebrities use a lot. They use it to connect with their fans. If you love keeping up with what celebrities do, you need to download Who Says. The platform invites A-listers to post photos and videos that they can share with fans. Many celebrities use the app to offer fans an insight into what they do and to market their work.

4.   Headspace
We all need to take some time out of our busy lives to relax and clear our heads. And many people, including celebrities, turn to an app called Headspace to do just that. David Pierson reported for the LA Times that the app, which was founded by Buddhist monk Andy Puddicombe, allows users to listen to meditation guides on topics as varied as anxiety and relationships.
