While I agreed with most of your comments but I disagreed about what you perceived as insults. Satire is part of politics. You’ve got to understand that people are frustrated. While some may be out of character which is what you termed as being disrespectful that’s the only way they felt they could be heard. If things are fine in Nigeria you and I will not be that concerned. America is in serious financial problems and Obama gets insulted every minute. A message can be conveyed in any way but I am more concerned about ethnic squabbles that we witness on this website and at the national level every day. What goes on this website is a replica of our politicians. Respect has to be earned and not be demanded…… Let me say this we have a state of anarchy…… The country is decaying….. People are starving…… Pensioners are not paid. …. People are homeless… etc… Leadership is just on paper…..The state of hopelessness as it is may be insurmountable……. Respect for the president will not resolve our serious issues….What do you call unreasonable insults? Respecting these politicians is like worshiping them they are not worthy of anything maybe not all of them. This is my message to the president and other politicians “get out of the kitchen if you can’t take the heat” therefore they should do the right thing.
