Does this mater? just to make the film look so funny and for the people that are watching it to laugh, i think that is all... Poster do you want to tell me that they don't know what they did? never but this is the way they want it to be simple.. beside English is not their language it's a borrowed language to all Africans.. can an English man speak  Yoruba or Igbo  or Hausa  language perfect? can they even speak it at all? why would you see good in what your people did. TAKE TIME O!..

call it a mistake, i will term it a callous, unwarranted and stingy mistake. the more professionals you engage, the more money you spend, the better the production

i believe it is the fault of the transcribers not the movie people or the actors. though its rather unfortunate.

It is the truth. The rate of grammatical blunder in Yoruba movies subtiltle is alarming. Also they will make 10 sentences in d movie and subtitle 2 so whether u understand it or not is not their concern. Does it mean that their editors are illiterate?
But on the positive aspect, I enjoy their movie even though I do not understand yoruba. Their movies make meaning, its is not like most Nollywood movies that the producers are just after the money and not bothered with the quality.

They should try and invest more time and money into it and improve the quality.Get a good english major that understand yoruba language very well. Any thing worth doing at all is worth doing well. I myself observed that they commit a lot of blunders and grammatical errors when it come to translation.May be this forum will bring a change in the yoruba movies industries.
