Why are Pastors hammering on Prosperity than Salvation? (Page 6)

I really pray that God Almighty will have mercy on such Pastors. Any Church that shy away from key christians foundational doctrines such as Salvation, Holiness, Soul - Winning (Evangelism) Prayer and Fasting etc is really missing the point. In  Jer 23:1  Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. Also in Jude 1:11  The Bible says Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
Actually, prosperity is not a sin, but the love of it above God and our fellow beings so that we then  begin to devise means to spiritually 419 our fellow human beings I believe, is what God detest. Again, the LORD  wll have mercy on such Pastors.

let ur concience judge  u. if u feel he preaches prosperity, change to living and salvation preaching church, n dnt be only the hearer but also the doer

Hi, i think that it sis extremely wrong for a pastor to only preach about sincerity. A pastor should preach about Salvation, and not only prosperity. Salvation is a gift that should never be taken for granted, for if you have not given your life to Christ, how r u meant to reach Heaven. Consider moving Church.

poverty!!! u see if d economy is stable nd an average man eats 3 square meal,fends 4 himself nd family.wat business does he ve running 4rm church 2 church looking 4 "This is ur year of abundance"or" "Posses ur possesion " Or "God has sworn 2 bless u ds year" or 'ur blessing is around d coner'.ds re wat mushroom churches use 2 lure problem stricken people...

Church now adays are business center and they have to use the right strategy to make their customers come to them

The situation to me, is seen as stupid, ironic and shameful. In a nutshell however, the supposed spiritual man has become even more material than the material man so to speak. People should be more careful these days though.

It is very disturbing to read from the post of some nigerian or rather people who dont see anything wrong with the way some pastor are going about the preaching of prosperity, people like ayoawe, fameandmurphy, franchise, dungaplus, jovis and solazed really need the help of God, how can they say poverty is the cause,or that they dont see any thing wrong, or that , that is what the people want to hear. Have they forgotten that there was poverty during the time of our Lord Jesus Christ, or that the scribes of that time refuses to hear the good news but Jesus cling to salvation preaching. you see, this being the endtime does not mean that we have to deviate from God words,infact this is a time we really have to stand for salvation and not prosperity as it was recorded in the book of revelation that many preachers will come in the name of Jesus trying to decieve all and that many people would be fooled into believing them but that we should all seek the kingdom of God first before any other thing, after all Jesus made it known to us all that the prosperity in heaven have no limit and it is for all those who are able to make it to heaven through repentance and salvation. so let me ask a question, which one is better, prosperity on earth which have a limit or prosperity in heaven without limit?.
My brethen, i will advice that we should all be weary of fasle preacher who goes about preaching prosperity all the time and leaving out salvation of the soul which is everlasting life. Pls let us all go back to the Bible and find out what God said about SALVATION & PROSPERITY.God bless you all in Jesus Name Amen!

its because thats what the world wants to hear, and if they don't do what the people want, they stand a chance of  loosing customers...
