The incident occurred at about 8:30pm as the students were studying for their examinations. The collapsed classroom is in the Government Arabic Secondary School within the college premises. The provost said when the incident occurred, the late students were rushed to Sokoto for treatment as they were in critical condition, but they later died.

He added that the two other students who were taken to the Argungu General Hospital were responding to treatment. It is a pity that she left home to read and she died in school, because of the i dont care attitude of government to their responsibilities. This is just one in a million that has died because of bad government. What of those who died as a result of bad roads , poor hospital facilities and response , hunger and frustration. May her soul rest in peace and may the souls of those who have caused or causing frustration on Nigerians both the  living and dead once souls should not rest in peace. Angry Sad :'( Embarrassed
