Viv sorry for blowing like this I was so upset at the time. Even looking back I can see the errors that I made which is unusual of me. All now I am unable to get inside my account. I came to this site with good intentions but now I realized that it is best to give it a break. I cannot believe that just advising a person to send me an email to the business account would prevent me from gaining access to it. Nigerian brand as been battered and it will take more than the government members to rebrand it. As for Visa application there will be a reduction of this. A sad state Nigeria is in now. Those who are too proud to see it now will be able to soon enough. Anyway take care.

 Grin Grin My God I mentioned it because my email address was compromised which is a business email address. It was compromised after placing it on a profile here on Naijipals.  So it have everything to do with Naijipals. My friend if you had nothing to contribute to the topic it would had be better you passed without saying nothing. The topic at hand was Nigeria threatens to sever ties with America. Hey, people who do not know what to say about this issue of Nigeria cutting ties with America should keep their opinions to them selves, because America trying to tanish the image of Nigeria by listing that country among countries associated with terrorism is a total nonsense and unacceptable to we Nigerians, the America Govt. shouldn't forget the fact that before the attempted horific bomb plot by Abdul Mutalab Nigeria as a country have nothing to do with it, neither does his parent have any thing to do with it but Abdul Mutalab and his co-ploters should be held responsible & adequately listed among terrorism. The America govt should control their anger and try as much as possible to understand that Abdul Mutalab hailed from Nigeria doesn't in anyway make Nigeria a terrorist country, but a country whose citizens are all over the world law abiding no matter the circumstances they found them selves. This is because we Nigerians are incucated with our culture which rurns in our vains. so this makes me wonder if Farouk Abdul Mutalab is actually a Nigerian, his father might think the boy is his son wereas he is not. There should be a mistake somewere, so the mother should be asked were she got that boy from because am sure that he is not the true son of his father hence no parenter respect/regards.

I had mentioned in my comment that Nigeria needs good leaders in order to make our country better.  Nigeria has the best and only crude oil in the world and should not cause any body stomach pains.  I agree that there is mismanagement and environmental abuse.  This is why we need good leaders.  Not because Nigerian politics is marred, mismanagement is rampant and crimes are many does not mean that Nigeria should be put in the terrorism watch list. 

This terrorism watchlist is simply an attempt to separate Nigeria into at least two countries.  By getting terrorists from the North, you can then separate the South from the North and instigate another civil war fighting for the natural resources while America is the beneficiary that just takes as many tanks of our sweet crude oil without having to pay for it because they will be busy supplying boths sides with military weapons.

Nigerians are people and it is time that Nigerian citizens stands up and defend Nigeria.  Enough is enough.  We are not the only people that commit fraud, mismanagement, bad politicking, terrorism, etc.  This is not a matter of ego and taking issues personal.  This is a matter of honour to stand up for what is right and true.

I will take it personal when somebody comes on this board and disparages Nigerians because they were stupid enough to compromise their email account on a public forum.

THIS WAS HOW Umar  Farouk Abdulmutallab or what ever he called himself  began his Trip.

The 23-year-old suspect flew out of Ghana on December 24, transiting at Lagos for 30 mins for a flight to Amsterdam and on to Detroit, where on December 25 he was overpowered by fellow passengers as he tried to set off a bomb hidden in his underwear as the Northwest Airlines plane came in to land.

Abdulmutallab had flown into Ghana from Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. Agyenim-Boateng said on Tuesday that the suspect gave one hotel as his address in Accra, but checked into a different one. He bought the ticket for the Northwest flight in Ghana on December 16.

A timeline of the movements of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian accused of trying to blow up an Amsterdam-Detroit passenger jet on December 25 after being allegedly trained by Al-Qaeda:

2005 – 2008 London: Abdulmutallab, 23, studied mechanical engineering at University College London. He was added to a British security watch list in May 2009 after applying for a visa to study at a bogus college.

January 2009-mid 2009 Dubai: The suspect spent several months at the Dubai campus of Australia’s Wollongong University until he vanished. “He commenced in January 2009 but disappeared from the residences around the middle of the year and was excluded from the second semester around August, September, October on the basis of non-payment of fees. His movements between mid 2009 and August 2009 are not known.

August-December 2009 Yemen: Authorities in Yemen are investigating how Abdulmutallab disappeared for 42 days after a visa expired in September. Abdulmutallab was given a visa to study Arabic at an institute in Sanaa. The visa expired on September 24 when Abdulmutallab went to Sanaa airport, changed taxis and disappeared.

Abdulmutallab has allegedly told US investigators that he was trained by Al-Qaeda. US President Barack Obama said on January 2 that in Yemen, Abdulmutallab “joined an affiliate of Al-Qaeda, and that this group Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula-trained him, equipped him with those explosives and directed him to attack that plane headed for America.”

Abdulmutallab resurfaced on December 7 at Sanaa airport with a reservation on a flight to Dubai, but changed his ticket to board a plane to Addis Ababa.

December 9, 2009 Ethiopia-Ghana: Abdulmutallab flew from Addis Ababa to Ghana on December 9 on an Ethiopian Airlines flight, according to Ghana’s Deputy Information Minister James Agyenim. He gave a Dubai address on his immigration form. Although he gave one hotel address in Accra, he checked into a different one.

December 16, 2009 Ghana: Abdulmutallab bought an e-ticket for a KLM flight from Lagos to Detroit, via Amsterdam, at the airline’s office in Accra.

December 24, 2009 Nigeria: Abdulmutallab, with a valid US visa, boarded a plane in Lagos for Amsterdam-Schiphol airport.

December 25, 2009 Netherlands-United States: Abdulmutallab took a connecting flight from Schiphol to Detroit, raising no suspicions during a security check even though explosives were allegedly sewn into his underwear. “According to initial inquiries, this check was carried out in line with regulations,” and “no malfunction was noted,”

Abdulmutallab is accused of attempting to blow up the jet with a device containing high explosive PETN, or pentaerythritol tetranitrate.

If Nigeria should be in the List of Terror Watch,then Ghana,UK,Togo,Dubia,Ethopia and Holland Should ALSO be added  in the list as well. Incuding US itself that gives him a valid 2 years Visa to US to go and Kill their citizens.

We Nigerians Living Outside Nigeria has been subject to a lot Humiliations at places of work,study,Business,Bus stand,Train Stations,Airports,Shoping Malls,Super Markets,recreational centers and even on the streets since this incidence took place and we have made an object of Mockry because of this Umaro case.We all are now suffering because of a crime one Nigerian has commited,we live with fear and no respect before our friends these days.We are now called Terrorist any where we go because of the stupid act of this Islamic idiot boy fighting Jihad Holy war at the age of 23yrs.

If you are responsible for American visas, please keep it.
You cannot slam an entire 150 million people because one may have compromised your business account.  I feel sad for what happened to you, but your insults are a bit too much.


Where are the insults? Did I say that I was responsible for American visas? Sometimes most of you answer on this board with your stupidity showing all over your face. Do you think that Nigerians will be getting Visa like before? If the country consulate was told to issued 10 now it going to be five and the process more harder. Apparently you don't understand that the Brand was broken down with the 419 and now this it as gotten worse. Take your head out of the sand and stop attacking me. If you were well read internationally then you wouldn't be attacking me but contributing in a more positive way. Anyway why should I even bother to explain to you Oyez when apparently you don't even see that it is Distrust of Nigerians why a lot of persons are afraid of being associate with you guys. For the past year I have been building friendship here I was warned online and offline but I still see Nigerians as people with a caring heart. I was just pointing out what happen to my account after telling the person to send me an email. What was wrong in doing this? Shallow mind that is what you are Oyez.

Start a new topic that deals with your compromised email account.  If people warned you against Nigeria and you still went ahead, do not blame anybody.  Majority of us do not know whom you are and you have no right to come into a forum where a very important discussion taking place about Nigeria, terrorism and USA for you do discuss your personal distrust of Nigerians because of a stupid business email account when you are the one that caused your own problems.

On this topic,We are talking about the demage the Jet Bomber Umar has caused to the entire nation and how our disput between the US can be resolve in peace and some people are talking about Nigerian winning world cup championship when Nigeria hardly qualify for the world cup.I termed it narrow escape qualification.

Viv sorry for blowing like this I was so upset at the time. Even looking back I can see the errors that I made which is unusual of me. All now I am unable to get inside my account. I came to this site with good intentions but now I realized that it is best to give it a break. I cannot believe that just advising a person to send me an email to the business account would prevent me from gaining access to it. Nigerian brand as been battered and it will take more than the government members to rebrand it. As for Visa application there will be a reduction of this. A sad state Nigeria is in now. You need to know the full implications of America's intended action towards Nigeria  before asking your question.
