The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to conduct fresh governorship election in 18 out of the 31 local government areas of Akwa Ibom state, where the April 11 election was marred by irregularities.
The incumbent governor of the state, Udom Emmanuel and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in that election, had approached the appellate court after the State Election Petitions Tribunal, which ruled in favour of the candidate of the All progressives Congress, APC, Okon Umana, cancelled election in those areas

Some of this politicians are very greedy akwa ibom state is my state, this okon umana is a very greedy man he has been the sercatery to the government for complete 16 years and yet still he wants to be the state governor.
