A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the South-South part of Nigeria was beheaded by blood-thirsty assailants who are currently at large.
 
Unknown gunmen beheaded a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State named Franklin-Obi  on the 6th of March, 2016.
 
The culprits are yet to be apprehended but rumors have it that the gruesome killing that also cost the life of his wife was politically-motivated.
