ok , but what about all the saying *for better for worse *? and till death do us apart ? oath is oath . but its better we all do away with non functional oath ,a true and genue love flows freely easily even with out undesireble oath . so lets face the reality now

Hey boi,no reality to face here ok. Do u need ur spouses blood for an oath during marriege right? it is the doctrine of the Bible but that of u and ur spouse indulging in secret oath is totally nt accptable both in the church and in or society. Ppl do it out of selfish desire and not real love as they claim....the end result is always disastrouse(sometimes leads to insanity amongst the spouse).  Shocked Shocked

Christians know, that if GOD took a man and woman together, is meant to remain forever till death. If u r doing  ur love oath or not, all depends on the will of the Almighty GOD. A love oath would not save u from disappointments anyway. No one could give u 100% guarantee for his forever love. Specially ppl u love most, could disappoint u later. It´s only GOD u can trust.

I don't think its a big deal if both parties are genuinely 'in love' with each other. Love itself in its real sense in an oath an that is why couples go to the registry, church, mosque or whatever place of warship to swear this oath. I think swearing an oath is just another way of telling your partner "I LOVE YOU".

What are you guys saying? what is the different if you took an oath by sharing blood with your partner in private without no one else knowing it?and you taking oath with your so called wife in an alter in the publice place? saying "TILL DEATH DO US PATH"so lets be sincer to our self,oath sharing is good and bad,(1) it is good if you as a man really know what you want and need in life,i believe before a man  will descide take an oath with his parner,he have descide to luv the woman till the end of time,and also for the woman... THAT IS ALL.
@DJBIGDADDY & POSTER:

Acts 15:20 (KJV)
But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

Acts 15:29 (KJV)
That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Please abstain from blood.  This is in keeping with God's commandments.

Taking oaths with blood is absolutely forbidden by God.  Our yes should be our yes and our no should be our no.

Let those that have ears hear what the Spirit is saying.

Remain blessed.
God bless Nigeria.
