The US Embassy in Nigeria, has made it clear that the country is not affected by President Donald Trump’s revised immigration order, which bans citizens of six nations from visiting America .
Spokesman, Russell K. Brooks stated this while responding to an Associated Press request for comments, on a statement issued by the Federal Government claiming that Nigerians with valid multiple-entry US visas, have been barred from entering the US.
Quote
”Possessing a visa has never automatically guaranteed entry”, Brooks admitted, but “Nigerians with a valid visa and a legitimate purpose are certainly welcome to visit the United States.”

He says,

“we encourage all visitors to be clear and consistent about their purpose and cooperate fully with U.S. immigration authorities.” Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, has also insisted that the country is not on the list of countries banned. He stated this while answering questions from newsmen on Tuesday.
“I am in touch with the US Embassy and the Ambassador said no, there was nothing of such nature. “I can tell you to ignore any call or advice to reconsider travelling to the US because there is no basis for that.
“We have absolutely no report whatsoever from the US that people are being turned back from the US or any of our consulate or any Nigerian that any of our people are being turned back,”
he said.

Me no know wetin people dey find for that stupid US sef, 5years ago I traveled to Illinois with my family and I see how small boys between 21-25 dey carry licensed/legalised gun up and down in broad daylight when I asked my cousin why dem dey carry guy everywhere he just nonchalantly "It's for their protection and its licensed". There and then I vowed never to visit the country alongside my little nephews again. What a stupid unsafe country!!!
