Seriously? I don't believe love ever requires or warrants a sacrifice of self, but rather a surrender of self and the gift of your heart. I would forfeit my existence without pause for those that I love as myself and more, but only to preserve them, that's the only way I'd die for love. No one I love or that loves me would want me dead, I hope anyway lol , but to attempt to end my life because I could not deal with rejection or a broken heart? No, that's just selfish. It's not a show of love, it's love tainted by selfishness and I'm sure my family and friends wouldn't appreciate the gesture.
