Capt. Jack Ryan of Philadelphia police during a press conference on Thursday revealed how 15-year-old Sabriya McLean of New Castle, Delaware, died.
According to Capt. Ryan, Sabriya ‘s body, found in the 200 block of South 49th Street late Tuesday morning, was stabbed approximately 80 times and set on fire by a man she met on Facebook
The killer, 23-year-old Cole Swaringer-Herring committed the said crime, after he met the deceased on Monday night while both of his parents were out. Station WPVI reports that when Cole’s Parents returned, he told them what he had done and they alerted the Police.
According to Jack, McLean’s stabbed and burned body was found under a pile of leaves behind a building in Swaringer-Herring’s apartment complex, and her killer has been charged with murder, arson, abuse of a corpse and also held pending his future preliminary hearing.
