Now, this aint no different from a porn movie. Music is just the excuse. Ha ha ah ahah. I guess this will find audience in the out of way, low life 'shaio and ashawo' joints in Nigeria. The senselessness that is enveloping my country is over in

I can not even call it whack. It is in a league of its on. Do we dig a hole for the ladder? Cause the ladder shouldn't stand at ground zero to accept this weakness called entertainment.

Humanity at herself once again. The beauty of success and failure radiates from this song. It does. Life is one big blend of nonsense. Ha ha ahah. Wow! Does this song mean that for every one of my "Alicia Keys" there are ten thousand whack artists out there? Wow!

I clap and doff my hat for this artist. You dared to try. That is beautiful. You dared to try. I must give you a standing ovation. I am in ovation right now. You dared.

You will find out if your ass is enough for success. You will find out. Ha ah aha haha hah.

Once again, I clap and doff my hat for this artist. And I wish you education. From the bottom of my heart.

@Poster. Na JazzMan Olofin you  d compare with these artists? O-Boy you dey mad? I know say dem say Nigerians are aggressive. However this na naija music we d talk about and my guy I must yarn you my mind. How u d think sef? Putting Jazzmans name in your shit artist list? You sabi music so? Ehn? Answer me? Make God punish you. Oloshi like you. Ha ha haah ahah.

I feel much better. Ha ah aha ha hah. Am just a Nigerian on a Nigerian site.

@Poster, have never bought or downloaded any Jazzman's song. I have much respect for him though. See reasons below.

1. He Sings like he is rapping. May be that is cause he can not really sing. And that is cool in my book. It shows he is intelligent. No need carrying notes that you cant carry.

2. His voice is not vocoded like that of many other Nigerian artists out there. Ask your nearest Producer what it means to vocode a voice. Like Kanye Wests album that he sang all through, his voice was vocoded. A vocoder is a device - software or hardware - that makes you voice sound like you talking into a fan. Snoop dog used it on his voice in his "segxwal seduction".

3. Jazzman's beats are not bad. His "Shake Something" beat is not bad. It is cool. Very cool. And that song was a hit.

4. He has cool videos. His videos are fair. There is this song of his about Lagos. Channel-O and Mtv-Base kept showing it on and on. I loved the video. The video captured the town of Lagos. Plus, it had this grimy feel. I guess maybe the camera used for the shooting was poor so the graphics people had to like reset the RGB or something therabouts. That video was cool. The song was cool.

5. He tries to Hybrid the old generation Yoruba music with hip-hop, disco and rap. What I mean by the 'old generation Yoruba music' is fuji, juju, afrobeat etcetra. He tries to do that. Do you know how much confidence it takes for an artist to try the unusual? It takes deep self confidence. Two face did something like that in his "integration" song. Though I doubt the likes of you will be able to comprehend what he did in that song. That song was a blend of the Traditional Idoma Style of Singing, Traditional Tiv Style of Singing and Hip-hop. Most people can not know what happened in that song. Most will never know.

6. He has a cool name. Jazzman has a cool name for a Nigerian Artist.

All the above said, I am not Yoruba, I do not understand what he says in his songs most of the time. I just know that he is not a failure. Jazzman is not the kind of artist you should describe as whack. Have never bought his album. I however know sound when I hear it. I also have dabbled into music. So, I can recognize the internals.

@Poster, please, be careful when you talk about artists. Be careful, cause there may be things other people see that you cant see.

As for most of the artists in your list, I have never heard em songs. Ha ah aha hah. Genie is whack though. Ha aha hahah. She dared to try. And that is the problem with being a star; when you fail in something public, you will find it difficult to try again.

The girl in that video should go to school.

HA HA HA AH AHAH. When I called you an oloshi the first time, I enjoyed it. I got my satisfaction. I am satisfied already. Please, before I go give you attention, you need to give me reasons why Jazzman Olofin should be on ur "artist shit list". If you can not counter me with reason, then, you do not know what you are talking about.

Maybe my perceptions are wrong. Maybe I cant recognize decent music like I think I can. More so I have heard only of his few songs.

Proove to me that he is a whack artist. I think I will buy his albums today. After all I am in Naija. I will sample it and taste the whackness for myself.

Mr Music, start giving me points why you think Jazzman is whack. Shay after calling you an oloshi, i listed some points why I think he is not a whack artist. I be naija boy. After "Gra Gra", we d make peace. Now you don call me oloshi. Shey your mind don d do you yori yori. Ha aha ah ah. Now give me food for thought.
