
The presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo has commended the federal government for the efforts made to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
He made the commendation on Monday, in a video clip on the church’s official Facebook page.
“At this point, I like to appreciate and deeply acknowledge the efforts of governments, particularly our government here in Nigeria, towards a no-spread of the virus,” he said.
He also said that human efforts had in the past, floored the spread of other deadly viruses to the bearest minimum.
“I know that there are many terminal diseases today and by the coordinated effort of people, they have been out under some arrest, and this one will go the same way it came,” he said.
“There are many terminal diseases and by coordinated efforts there were brought under arrest. This one will go the same as other went.
“God will not allow this plaque be the end of the human race. This plaque ceases right now as we join prayers. It’s time to talk to God for help.
Oyedepo, however, commended the efforts of the federal and state governments on curbing the deadly disease.
“We must look to God for bailout. There is no irreversible case with God, all we need to do is to take responsibility, he added.
Coronavirus, declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO), has killed 15,000 people and affected 190 countries.
