A Nigerian couple has issued a notice to friends and families interested in attending their wedding ceremony not to come with gas cookers, spoons, pots or cooler as gifts as it will not be appreciated.
According to the couple, they are only going to appreciate people who presents money as wedding gifts to them.
Presenting gifts to couples is a traditional act used to show love and compassion to the couple, however, it has become a recent trend for friends and family to buy gas cookers, spoons, knives and similar things as gifts for couples.
Although, in the case of rich people, gifts like irons, freezers, televisions, cars, houses and luxury are always the content of the gift packages. This couple however, does not seem to take their chances to see what the rich people have to present to them.
