Nollywood actress Nnaji Charity has come out to address the high rate of bleaching in the Nigerian movie industry. In the movie industry, a lot of actresses are known to change their skin color over time and it has raised a lot of conversations online.

Charity in a post shared on her Insta story addressed the issue and explained that movie producers are a major reason why actresses bleach. The TV star explained that producers do not invest in good cameras and equipment so they tell the actresses to bleach so the colour of their movie can come out better. A lot of fans agreed with Nnaji Charity’s thoughts stating that producers favour the light-skinned girls in the movie industry over the dark-skinned beauties.
