Arsenal
The Arsenal medical staff have been working overtime as the campaign nears its conclusion, as long-term knee victims Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny are still recovering, while William Saliba (back), Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf) and Gabriel Martinelli (ankle) are also eyeing pre-season returns.
The Gunners were also without Reiss Nelson for the clash with Forest due to illness, although many believed his absence to be down to his contract stand-off before the reason was revealed, but the attacker ought to return this weekend for what may be his Emirates farewell.
Nelson may even come into Arteta's thinking for a starting role with the title already gone - the same can be said for the likes of Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe due to Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard's knocks - and the Spaniard should revert to a more familiar system after his failed Thomas Partey and Jakub Kiwior full-back experiment at the City Ground.
Arsenal possible starting lineup:
Ramsdale; White, Kiwior, Gabriel, Tierney; Odegaard, Xhaka, Jorginho; Nelson, Jesus, Smith Rowe
Wolves
As for Wolves, the treatment room has been emptied barring Chiquinho and Sasa Kalajdzic, both of whom are recovering from their serious knee injuries and will watch on from the sidelines here.
Lopetegui has shown a willingness to rotate with nothing but pride on the line, and having admitted guilt over denying Raul Jimenez a proper Molineux goodbye, he should offer some minutes to the Mexican striker in North London, where he memorably suffered a skull fracture in a sickening clash of heads with David Luiz during the 2020-21 season.
Given the calibre of opposition, Lopetegui may be tempted to recall the likes of Matheus Nunes and Matheus Cunha to the XI, but Daniel Bentley should keep Sa - who may seek pastures new this summer - at bay in between the sticks for the third game running.
Wolverhampton Wanderers possible starting lineup:
Bentley; Semedo, Kilman, Dawson, Toti; A. Traore, Lemina, Neves, Nunes; Cunha, Jimenez
Prediction: Arsenal 1-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers
