I know thing are difficult right now and if I was in his shoe,may if not for God grace I may have done my worst but he should know that she realize her mistake. She was in the position to keep this to herself and not letting any one know or say decide never to have repeated it. But she knew she had gone wrong so she had to confess to him. I feel his pain but I also have some respect for his wife. Let him forgive her. He is in the position to win her trust, respect,confidence and love. He should never mention this or used it against her when ever there is a misunderstanding.
It will take some but he had our pray.

What a taboo. under the ten commandment during the reign of MOSES, thou shall not commit adultery was the 4th law. i will advice him to forgive her and give her a certificate of divorce and send her away. adultery is as deadly as the venom of a cobra. there should be no compromise about it. he will get over it withing the shortest possible time. what prompted her to commit such devlish act will happen again. she commited the act not because of sex starving, because adultery is in her adrenalin. she is a cheap sloth wife.  woe unto that woman that commit adultery, it would have been better if she wasn't born.

I read people saying forgive her this, forgive her that... Even if the man wasn't treating her right, she has no right to cheat. Anyone who has an excuse for cheating is a coward. If she badly wanted to sleep with another man, she should've divorced her husband first before doing that. Personally, I will file for divorce ASAP, no time wasted. I will forgive her but I will not continue to be married to her. Sleeping with another man/woman willingly is never a mistake... it is always intended and whether she confessed or not, it wouldn't make a difference, so long as you weren't forced into the act. That's my own one cent.  Grin
